PRIVATE COUNSEL, LLC was founded in 2003 by Shon Douctre. After a stint in the U.S. Navy, where he proudly served
his country during Desert Storm, he completed law school and
began public interest work for the Office of the Public
Defender as an Assistant Public Defender for Orange County,
Florida. Soon after, Shon founded Private Counsel LLC, which he now manages. Shon and Jill Hampton worked together as Assistant Public Defenders, and continue to work closely together in private practice on behalf of their clients.
